Privacy Statement
Effective August 25, 2026. This general privacy statement explains how Only The Demons (“OTD”) handles information used by OTD Intelligence and Demon Guard.
Information we process
We may process Discord user IDs, usernames, display names, avatars, guild IDs, guild names, membership and permission information, OAuth session data, security events, audit-log attribution, incident details, reports, evidence links, cases, appeals, staff actions, Premium purchase tickets and IP addresses collected when the Strict Invite Gateway is used. We do not ask users to provide Discord passwords or user tokens.
Strict Invite Gateway
For Premium guilds that enable the Strict Invite Gateway, OTD records the verifying Discord identity, IP address, approximate city/region/country, browser and operating-system details, a hashed browser-device fingerprint, guild, result and timestamp. A browser cannot provide a true hardware serial; the device fingerprint is derived from browser signals and is not used as the sole enforcement signal. The IP address is also converted to a keyed security fingerprint used to detect attempts to evade an active global blacklist with another account. Approximate location may be obtained through a configured IP-geolocation provider. These sensitive verification details are available only to the OTD owner through the private owner security log and are never displayed to guild administrators, public blacklist announcements or public profiles.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, operate guild security, investigate reports, maintain public blacklist records, process appeals, prevent abuse and blacklist evasion, audit staff decisions, provide Premium access and maintain platform reliability.
Sharing
Information may be shared with Discord through its APIs and private owner webhook, Cloudflare for human-verification processing, infrastructure providers needed to operate the service, authorized OTD staff, guild administrators with appropriate access, or authorities when required by law or necessary to address credible safety threats. Public blacklist records may display the affected Discord identity, category, reason, case identifier and listing date, but not an IP address.
Retention and security
OTD retains records for as long as reasonably necessary for security, auditing, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Access is restricted by role, secrets are not displayed through the website, and reasonable technical safeguards are used. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Users may use the verified appeal process for records concerning their own Discord account and may contact OTD through the platform’s support or ticket channels for privacy questions. Some security and audit records may be retained when necessary to protect the service and its communities.
Children and changes
The service is not directed to children below the minimum age required to use Discord in their jurisdiction. This statement may be updated as the platform changes. Continued use after an update means the revised statement applies.
